Arsenal can sign one of three other options as Zubimendi alternatives if they fail to land the Spaniard.

Should Martin choose another club, the north London club will have to look for other alternatives. Plenty of players could impress them in the midfield. Their options may include Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes, Carlos Baleba of Brighton and **Aston Villa**‘s Amadou Onana.

Carlos Baleba is one of the best young talents in the Premier League. He is just 20 years old and will turn 21 this year. His game sense and ball control has impressed many. He is great in physical duels as well.

The Cameroon international could be a good addition to the Mikel Arteta’s side. Also, he is very young and will only improve with age. He has a great potential and that could have a better impact in the Arteta system.
Another solution in the midfield will be Bruno Guimaraes. He is already linked with a move to north London. Many Gunners’ fans like him and hope to watch him play for their club.
The Brazil international has almost everything that Arsenal need. He is good at keeping the ball and will give defensive stability. He is amazing when it comes to long and short range passing. The attacking sense he possesses is incredible. He can give offensive and defensive control, which makes him the ideal option.
However, the London side have to pay a huge amount to sign him. He will be an incredible addition to their team for sure.
The Emirates club could also look at Amadou Onana at Aston Villa. They were interested in him but he joined the Villans at the end. Although, if he is available in the summer window, he might switch sides.
The Belgian is good at physical duels and gives defensive control. He can carry the ball well and can create spaces for the attack. Should the Gunners fail to land their main target, Onano could be a great option.
