Ben Doak wanted by Everton as David Moyes lines up sensational Liverpool raid

Everton boss David Moyes is reportedly weighing up a shock move for Liverpool and Scotland starlet Ben Doak.

Former Celtic sensation Doak, 19, has attracted many admirers since making the breakthrough at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp.

New boss Arne Slot sanctioned a season-long loan deal to Middlesbrough at the start of the season and the exciting winger lit up the EFL Championship before suffering a thigh injury in January.

Doak - who has 10 goal contributions for Boro this season - has since undergone surgery and could miss the rest of the campaign.

But the attacker remains hot property and fellow Scot Moyes is ready to launch a big-money move, according to the Sun.

It's reported that Liverpool would be willing to listen to offers of around £25million for the wide man.

And despite the rivalry between both city clubs, Moyes is keen to bring the highly-rated youngster to the Toffees.

Premier League rivals Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are also keeping close tabs on Doak's situation, with the Eagles long-term admirers.

Liverpool know Doak is destined to have a huge future in the game and may prefer to loan him out for more first-team experience.

But Moyes is hopeful he can convince his city rivals to do business as he looks to steal a march on other parties.
