Aston Villa are through to the semi-final of the FA Cup after securing a 3-0 win against Preston North End on Sunday.
The Villans travelled to Deepdale on 30 March with a place at Wembley on the line and certainly took the opportunity with both hands.
Marcus Rashford grabbed his first Villa goal before doubling his tally from the penalty spot to hand the away side a 2-0 lead with 64 minutes gone.
Jacob Ramsey smashed home a third to take the tie away from the Lilywhites and place Villa in the final four of the cup for the first time in 10 years.
On a perfect day in the Lancashire sunshine, Aston Villa News rates the players out of 10.

Aston Villa player ratings v Preston North End
Emi Martinez – 6
The World’s Number One had very little to do at Deepdale but was there when required and maintained a 79 per cent pass accuracy which can be taken as a positive.

Matty Cash – 6
The Poland international looked good down the right flank and can be pleased to have won three duels up against Jayden Meghoma down the Preston left.
Ezri Konsa – 6
As always, Konsa was excellent in claret and blue as he won 100 per cent of his duels while also keeping up a superb 98 per cent pass accuracy at the back.
Tyrone Mings – 5
Alongside the 27-year-old, Mings also put a positive performance in as he kept up a 91 per cent pass accuracy of his own.
Lucas Digne – 7
Two assists for the France international who seems to continue to get better every week. This was paired by one tackle and one duel won, which just summed up his all-action performance.
Asensio struggles as Rashford shines v Preston
Boubacar Kamara – 6
Like his French teammate, there doesn’t seem to be a week when Kamara is off the boil. His ability to sniff out danger and beat the press makes Emery’s side so much better.
Youri Tielemans – 6
Another imposing performance from the Belgian who won 100 per cent of his attempted tackles while also showcasing his ability on the turn at Deepdale.
Marco Asensio – 4
One of the only days in a Villa shirt for Asensio where you can say he didn’t make much of a difference. He completed just 16 per cent of crosses and failed to create a chance. Everyone’s allowed an off day.
Morgan Rogers – 5
Another one who put in a quiet day’s work was Rogers, who, besides winning the penalty, did precious little of note against the Lilywhites.
Jacob Ramsey – 7
It wasn’t the best day for the Englishman but his ability on the turn was capped off by an excellent strike to secure a place at Wembley at the end of April.
Marcus Rashford – 9
Finally, Rashford has a goal in Villa colours. The 27-year-old capped off a performance where he created the most chances on the pitch with three, with two goals to all but secure the win.
