Dutch prospect ‘really enjoys’ Gravenberch’s game
Sam Steijn, who has become a key player for FC Twente in recent seasons, has revealed that he is trying to pick up a specific element of Gravenberch’s game in order to earn himself a call up to the Dutch national team.
“I really like watching Ryan,” Steijn told HELDEN Magazine, via Voetbalprimeur. “I can really enjoy his game.”

Steijn revealed that he is working with an individual coach, Patrick Woerst, who also works with Liverpool’s midfield starlet.
One element of Gravenberch’s game that Woerst is helping Steijn to imitate is the ‘no-touch turn’, that Steijn describes as a movement where you “let the ball run with you and you turn, without touching the ball and losing speed.”

Gravenberch’s skill on the ball
The 22-year-old’s ability to control the ball, sometimes without even touching it, is something that has wowed supporters time and time again since his arrival from Bayern Munich.
The ‘no-touch turn’ is just one of Gravenberch’s many tools and is part of the reason the midfielder is able to progress the ball with such ease.
The improvement of the Ajax academy graduate has been a big part of Liverpool’s Premier League title charge, and it now looks like just a matter of time until Gravenberch gets his hands on the most coveted trophy in English football.
Slot will no doubt be immensely proud of his compatriot, and the Reds’ boss will be hoping that midfielders in Liverpool’s academy are also taking notes on Gravenberch’s sensational season.
