Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, and Aston Villa have been linked with a move for West Ham United attacker Mohammed Kudus.
According to a report from Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Aston Villa are unwilling to pay the release clause to sign Mohammed Kudus in the summer. The Ghanaian intenraitonla will cost £85 million, and it will be interesting to see if West Ham are prepared to let him leave for a more reasonable price.
The Hammers are prepared to cash in on versatile 24-year-old attacker this summer, with recent reports suggesting Manchester City are interested in him. He has been linked with the move to Saudi Arabia as well.
Mohammed Kudus has been a reliable performer in the Premier League since joining West Ham, and he is certainly good enough for clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham. He could be attracted to the idea of playing for a big club, and it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds.
Kudus would be a superb addition
Arsenal need more depth in their attacking unit, and signing the versatile West Ham United attacker would allow them to rotate players like Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli more often. Mohammed Kudus is capable of operating anywhere across the front three. He will add goals and creativity to the side.
Similarly, Liverpool need more depth in the final third, especially if Mohamed Salah leaves the club at the end of the season. Darwin Nunez could be sold in the summer as well. The West Ham attacker could be the ideal acquisition for Liverpool if they can get the deal done.
As far as Tottenham are concerned, Richarlison and Timo Werner could be on their way out of the club in the summer. Both players will need to be replaced. Aston Villa have been overly dependent on Ollie Watkins, and Marcus Rashford might not seal a permanent deal. Aston Villa need more depth in their offensive unit, and Kudus would be a useful acquisition.
The Ghanaian attacker is at the peak of his powers, and he will want to join a club where he will be able to win major trophies quickly. Arsenal and Liverpool could be more attractive destinations for the attacker compared to the other two clubs. It remains to be seen where he ends up.
