Igor Paixao has revealed he will do 'what is best for everyone' this summer as he continues to be linked with a move away from Feyenoord. Paixao has been linked with a reunion with Arne Slot at Liverpool after impressing for the Dutch giants this season.
The forward has scored 11 times and claimed 15 assists in 38 appearances. As well as the Reds, several clubs from across Europe have also been linked with a move for the 24-year-old.
And although he is aware of the speculation surrounding his future at the Feyenoord Stadium, Paixao has vowed to continue to give his all for Robin van Persie’s side between now and the end of the season.

“I will do my best at Feyenoord until the end of the season,” he told 1908.nl via Sport Witness. “If I stay, that’s fine. And if I leave, that will be the result of my game here.
“In any case, I want to leave something beautiful here. Moreover, I still have a contract until 2029. I will then focus on Feyenoord.
“It is up to the Feyenoord board and my agents to determine what is best for everyone.”
Paixao’s comments come after former Feyenoord manager Rob Jacobs urged Liverpool to sign the forward. Jacobs claimed the Brazilian would be an upgrade on Cody Gakpo, who is currently enjoying his most productive season for the Reds since moving to Anfield.
Speaking to 1908.nl, Jacobs said: “Then I’ll go for Paixao. I really think he makes Liverpool stronger. Arne Slot should also enjoy his development.
“Gakpo is of course also a fantastic player and is doing well at Liverpool, but I think Paixao is better.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if Liverpool would report to Feyenoord. Hey, €40 million or €50 million? They don’t make a fuss about that in England.
“He is getting better every day. Incredibly goal-oriented, he is the most dangerous man at Feyenoord. Really, nothing but praise, he scores magnificent goals.
"It's not normal how he kicks that ball in! That's how you punish a mistake. Pure class. He was not in the pre-selection of Brazil for nothing, that is quite an elite club."
