The Golden State Warriors ended their losing streak after just two games.
The club mightily missed Stephen Curry's presence, as he was out for their two losses. When he returned from his pelvic injury, he got the Warriors back into the win column.
Even upon Jimmy Butler's arrival in the Bay Area -- which massively lifted the team's energy -- the superstar guard remains the heartbeat of the squad.
Helping Golden State to a 111-95 win over the New Orleans Pelicans, Curry posted 23 points on 7-of-21 shooting, adding four rebounds, six assists and three steals in the victory.
With a 42-31 record, the Warriors are in the thick of the playoff race in the Western Conference, making their matchup against the San Antonio Spurs that much more important.
The Spurs are 31-42 through their 73 games played, meaning the Warriors certainly need a Sunday night victory.
Will Curry be on the hardwood, though? He's only had one game back on the hardwood since his injury.

Curry's injury status before Warriors-Spurs
After making his return just last game, the Warriors have listed Curry as probable prior to their road matchup in San Antonio.
Putting Curry on the injury report is just cautionary for Golden State, as they will certainly be careful with his health moving forward.
Still, expect the superstar guard to be on the hardwood. Curry, himself, said there would be discomfort with the injury, though he'll remain on the court.
On top of that, the club is quite clear they understand how important this final stretch of matchups is for the playoffs.
For both the standings and building momentum, Golden State needs to be sharp and pile up wins to cap off their regular season campaign.
