Roy Keane launched a stinging attack on Manchester City’s players as he claimed they were getting on his 'nerves'. The outspoken former Manchester United captain took aim at Pep Guardiola’s side during the break of their FA Cup quarter-final tie against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
City were handed a golden opportunity to open the scoring when Bernardo Silva's flick hit Tyler Adams' arm. However, Erling Haaland saw his penalty well saved by Kepa Arrizabalaga.

And just minutes later, the Norway international and City were made to pay when Evanilson opened the scoring when he finished from close range for Andoni Iraola’s side. That was how it stayed until the break, and when asked about Guardiola's side by Mark Pougatch during ITV’s half-time analysis, the former Republic of Ireland international didn’t hold back.

He said: "Manchester City just strolling around, getting on my nerves. No intention, conviction, physicality and Bournemouth just about deserve the lead. Man City strolling around the pitch - not a good sign."
The former midfielder then continued: "Bournemouth can sit in and pick Manchester City off. For all City's possession, they have lacked power and brilliant players like Kevin De Bruyne are being sloppy in their play.
"Pep [Guardiola] has got to do something at half-time. This is the quarter-final of the cup – they need more intensity."
On Haaland's missed penalty, Keane said: "Kepa has read it well, not a great strike, but it is a good save. We all know the importance of the first goal. That would have been huge to them."
