Manchester United fans can expect major changes in this summer transfer window with a handful of players expected to move on.
Premier League football is now just a couple of days away, with Manchester United fans no doubt ready to see Ruben Amorim’s side in action again.
It’s now two weeks since United beat Leicester City 3-0 in the Premier League, sending Amorim’s squad into the international break on a high.
United head to face Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night, with Amorim looking to see his players build some momentum after wins over Leicester and Real Sociedad.
The end of the season is in sight, though, and Amorim may well be thinking about the summer transfer window.
United need to make changes this summer, and whilst new signings will be eyed up, Amorim will hope to clear the decks for new faces.

Ajax chief on Christian Eriksen move
Reports suggest that Amorim is already willing to let four players leave when their contracts expire this summer.
Tom Heaton, Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen are all expected to leave United on free transfers.

Lindelof already has interest from Benfica, with a potential return to the Portuguese side in the pipeline.
Midfielder Eriksen may end up rejoining a former club as well, with Ajax considering bringing the Dane back to Amsterdam.
Eriksen left Ajax for Tottenham Hotspur in 2013, after 32 goals in and 65 assists in 163 games for the club.
Ajax sporting director Marijn Beuker – formerly of Queen’s Park – has now told ESPN that Eriksen is one player on their radar.
Beuker noted that Eriksen, Dusan Tadic and former United defender Daley Blind are being thought about as potential signings.
Beuker highlighted that those players have ‘performed fantastically’ for Ajax in the past and will always be under consideration for returns to Amsterdam.
The Ajax chief did, though, add that such deals must be done carefully and can’t block the progress of young players emerging through the ranks.
“He is one of the players who has performed fantastically with us in the past that we are thinking about,” said Beuker. “There will be multiples in the media. Other names mentioned are those of Dusan Tadic and Daley Blind.
“Such players are always an option. To look at it. It has to fit into the phase we are in, though. In the salary structure. You also don’t want to block youth players coming up. That we are open to thinking about it is clear. Only it has to fit into the overall picture for the future,” he added.
Christian Eriksen on his United future
Eriksen has already commented on his United future having spoken to the Danish media during the international break.
The United midfielder noted that he is already preparing himself for a move away from Old Trafford this summer.
Moves to Denmark or the United States are not in the plans for Eriksen, who still wants to play at a high level ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
“I have prepared my mind to find something new,” said Eriksen.
“Where it will be, I don’t know yet, but I am free on the market, and I haven’t tried that before.
“I was free after the cardiac arrest, but it was a slightly different situation.
“I still feel like I have some good years left abroad. Football-wise, I don’t feel like I’m at a point where I want to move back to Denmark and play in the Super League. My love for the game of football will always be there, no matter where I play. But my ambition is still to play for the national team because I feel I still have a lot to contribute. Therefore, it is too early to travel back to Denmark for me.
“We won’t travel that far,” said Eriksen on a move to MLS. “I want to stay in Europe and continue playing. It is not my first priority to stay in England. But as I said, I am open to most things, but as I said, we are not going to move back to Denmark at this time.
“My next big dream is the World Cup in 2026. And after that, there will probably be a new dream. At club level, I want to play in a good place where I can see myself,” he added.
Eriksen may well receive an offer to go back to the Netherlands and play for an Ajax side who are closing in on the Eredivisie title.
That would present a chance to play in the Champions League too, with Ajax surely presenting one of the most appealing options to Eriksen this summer.
