5 NFL Stars Most Likely to be Traded Before the 2025 Draft

The 2025 NFL draft is less than a month away. With the first round scheduled to begin on April 24, teams are making their final preparations for what they want to do.

One of the big storylines leading up to the draft always has to do with trades. For teams who have players that they may move on from, the draft is usually a pretty strong deadline for those moves to be made.

With that being said, there are a handful of players who could be moved by their respective teams.

Let's take a look at the five stars across the NFL most likely to be traded before the start of the 2025 draft.

5. Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Another player to keep a close eye on is 49ers' star wideout Brandon Aiyuk. After being mentioned in a lot of trade rumors last offseason, San Francisco worked out a four-year, $120 million deal to keep him in town.

Aiyuk tore his ACL after just seven games in 2024. He caught 25 passes for 374 yards, but did not find the end zone.

He isn't the most likely player to be moved, but Aiyuk is a trade candidate nonetheless.

4. Kirk Cousins, QB, Atlanta Falcons

In recent weeks, there have been quite a few rumors about veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins. His first year with the Falcons did not go as planned and he's a major candidate to switch teams this offseason.

There are still a few teams across the NFL with a need for help at quarterback. A team like the Cleveland Browns could swoop in and make an offer to Atlanta before the draft.

3. Micah Parsons, LB, Dallas Cowboys

Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have yet to work out a new deal with Parsons. That new deal is going to be incredibly expensive.

Over the last few weeks, rumblings have been growing louder about Parsons being a potential trade candidate. It's not "likely" that Dallas will move on from its superstar pass rusher, but it might be possible if the right deal is offered.

Parsons is coming off of a 2024 season with the Cowboys that saw him rack up 43 tackles, 12 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a defended pass in 13 games.

2. George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

Yet another wide receiver who could be available at the right price is Steelers' young playmaker George Pickens.

Pittsburgh made a blockbuster move this offseason to acquire star wideout DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks. To back up the trade, the Steelers also signed Metcalf to a four-year, $132 million contract extension.

Pickens may not be in the long-term plans from a financial standpoint. If that is the case, a trade would make a lot of sense and a large market would likely form for him.

1. Trey Hendrickson, DE, Cincinnati Bengals

Finally, the Bengals will have to make a decision on Trey Hendrickson. They would like to work out a new contract with him, but money is a lot tighter since the major contracts were handed out to both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Hendrickson has drawn heavy interest from teams on the trade market this offseason. He's the most likely player to be dealt before the draft.

In each of the last two years, Hendrickson has recorded 17.5 sacks. He is one of the top pass rushers in the NFL.
