Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz arrive together before a Liverpool match
Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz reportedly could both leave Liverpool this summer
Liverpool are reportedly not in advanced contract talks with Luis Diaz. Diaz, 28, is due to enter the final two years of his deal this summer. The forward has not extended his contract since signing from Porto in January 2022.
Several players are on deals due to expire at the end of the 2026/27 season: Alisson, Conor Bradley, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Harvey Elliott, Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas and Wataru Endo. Diaz, however, is said to be the subject of interest from other clubs.
Barcelona have been regularly linked with a move for the winger over the last few months, while Saudi Pro League clubs have also been credited with an interest in him. And in a new update, Fabrizio Romano has now claimed on his Daily Briefing that clubs approached the player during the winter transfer window.

Diaz, however, is said to have wanted to stay, with Liverpool also not keen to make changes to their squad during January. That is the explanation given for why no move materialised, but Romano acknowledges the interest remains alongside that of several European clubs.
Multiple people at Barcelona are also considered admirers of the Colombia international. Diaz is then compared to Darwin Nunez as a player who could leave Liverpool this summer. Romano claims there is a general feeling their departures 'could' happen.
The journalist does, though, acknowledge there are no guarantees yet. He clarifies that it is just a 'strong possibility' and 'one to watch'. Links with Arsenal are also acknowledged, but Romano does not add to those reports.
TEAMtalk cited sources when claiming the Gunners are monitoring Diaz and are interested in doing a summer deal to sign the player. The outlet also credited Atletico Madrid and Milan with an interest in Diaz.
According to their sources, Liverpool are reportedly open to selling ahead of refreshing their forward line this summer, with Mohamed Salah due to be out of contract.
