Cade Cunningham’s Injury Status Before Detroit Pistons-Minnesota Timberwolves

On Sunday night, the Detroit Pistons will travel to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Detroit is pretty comfortable as the fifth seed in the Western Conference, and the eighth-seeded Timberwolves will try to rise up in the standings. They are only a half game behind both the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers, and if they can pass them then they will avoid the Play-In Tournament.

The Pistons have been without All-Star Cade Cunningham for the last three games, although they won all of them, including a statement 11-point win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, who boast the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

As Cunningham misses time, the Pistons are holding their breath and waiting for him to come back, although he is still listed on the injury report heading into tonight's game.

With his nagging calf injury, Cunningham is doubtful. However, he and Jaden Ivey seem like they will be the only two players to miss the game. Dennis Schroder is probable, , as is Tobias Harris, who missed the last game.

Meanwhile, the Wolves are likely to be fully healthy, with Terrence Shannon Jr. being the only player listed, questionable with a groin injury.

With tipoff scheduled for 7:00PM EST and the game broadcast on FanDuel Sports Network and NBA League Pass, seeing if Ausar Thompson and the Pistons' defense can slow down Anthony Edwards will be worth tuning in to watch.

The Pistons will enter the contest as seven-point underdogs, although if Cunningham does suit up that line will shift early.
