News & Notes: Ravens President Sashi Brown Gives Update on Justin Tucker

Ravens President Sashi Brown said it remains uncertain when the NFL's investigation regarding Justin Tucker will conclude.

The NFL is investigating allegations reported by The Baltimore Banner. Sixteen massage therapists at eight spas have alleged that Tucker engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior during sessions between 2012 and 2016. Tucker has denied the allegations.

Speaking at the NFL Owners meeting on Sunday, Brown said the Ravens had received updates from the league regarding the Tucker investigation.

"We have been in contact with the league periodically," Brown said. "We try to respect and stay at an arm's length as they conduct their investigation.

"For a lot of reasons you can imagine, you wouldn't want to have multiple investigations going on. \[That would\] not be fair to anybody involved, including those who have made allegations."

Brown said he has been given no timetable on when the investigation will conclude.

"These investigations take time," Brown said. "That's never satisfying to anybody involved, probably including Justin and the folks that made the allegations. But this is an issue, generally as a society in terms of women making claims that takes a lot of courage and bravery, and frankly as a society we haven't gotten right for too long.

"From our standpoint, we want to make sure we have great understanding of the facts. Hear both sides of the situation and that we allow the investigation to be properly conducted and concluded and make decisions based on full information."
