While their fellow AFC East division rival New England Patriots have seemingly acquired anyone and everyone they can, the Miami Dolphins have largely stayed out of the spotlight this offseason. While Tyreek Hill tried to stir some drama back in January with comments indicating he wanted to be traded, nothing came of it.
Miami smoothed over the situation by meeting with their eight-time Pro Bowler, and both sides seemingly agreed to sink the possible trade request back into the swamp. That could be changing soon.

The Miami Dolphins have made a series of small free agent signings, but when it comes to transactions involving big names, they’ve stayed out of the picture. That could be changing soon.
Now Tyreek Hill is back at it, fueling more Dolphins trade rumors thanks to his latest social media activity on X.

Of course, folks are speculating that Hill is once again angling for a trade from the Dolphins after three seasons with the team. Without further movement, there’s no way to know whether Hill is actually shooting for a trade or just having some fun.
Hill is only under contract through 2026 but he’ll have a ridiculous $51.8 million cap hit next season. Obviously the Dolphins won’t be paying that out to Hill, who will be 32 years old at that point. That could be why he’s hoping to land a new deal with a new team now.
Or again, maybe he’s just having fun during the offseason and this will all be a joke when training camp gets underway.
