Kyrgyz-Tajik border. Japarov and Rahmon sign protocol on exchange of ratification letters
AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the ceremony of signing the protocol of exchange of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border treaty ratification letters in Khujand on March 31.
The heads of state expressed confidence the border treaty will become a strong basis for comprehensive cooperation between two countries and will serve for the next generations as example of political maturity, fraternity and historical responsibility, the president's press service reported.
The ratification letters enforce the state border treaty between two countries and create necessary conditions for complete demarcation of the border, modernization of border infrastructure and strengthening of good neighborliness in border areas.
