Leicester City have been fortunate enough to have had some true Premier League stars to have played for them over the years.
Even before the famous title win in 2016, the club has had people on the books that, to the eyes of many, are among the best to have graced the top flight.
Modern day greats include the likes of Jamie Vardy and N’Golo Kante and the past had names such as Matt Elliott, Gerry Taggart and so on.
But where do some of these rank among the best players to have played in the Premier League?

Eight Leicester players feature in top 100 Premier League players list
The best players in Premier League history is a debate that can go on until the end of time but in this case, FourFourTwo compiled a list of the top 100 to have played in the best league in the world.
A total of six players who have worn Leicester City colours are included, although some were included due to their impact at other clubs.
Harry Kane is the highest former Fox at number eight. Although he never played a Premier League game for Leicester, he still played for the club.
Player Ranking
Harry Kane 8
N’Golo Kante 24
Jamie Vardy 32
Riyad Mahrez 59
Les Ferdinand 76
Emile Heskey 87
Kevin Phillips 92
Dion Dublin 98
Kante is the highest out of those who did play for the Foxes in the top flight, coming in at 24 and closely followed behind Leicester legend Vardy who is ranked 32.
MORE LEICESTER STORIES
Riyad Mahrez is the next to make the list, coming in at 59 before Les Ferdinand, who was placed at 76. Rounding off the list of names who had represented Leicester were Emile Heskey, Kevin Phillips and Dion Dublin, who were named the 87th, 92nd and 98th best players in the list.
Kasper Schmeichel fails to make top 100 list
While there was also place for the current Leicester manager, with Ruud van Nistelrooy slotted in at 52, the biggest omission on a Leicester part was Kasper Schmeichel.
Without the Great Dane, Leicester would’ve been nowhere near the league title and if anyone epitomised what the Foxes’ self-proclaimed ‘pub team’ was all about, it was Schmeichel.
His dad did feature but the Leicester legend can easily feel hard done by to have not had a sniff.
