The Toronto Raptors secured a 127-109 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, improving to 28-47 for the season. Canadian guard RJ Barrett led the way with a 31-point performance, adding five rebounds and five assists, while Ja'Kobe Walter contributed 17 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in the winning effort.
Despite a disappointing season marked by injuries to key players, including Brandon Ingram, who has been out since Dec. 7, the Raptors have shown flashes of brilliance throughout the year. Toronto is currently riding a four-game winning streak, offering hope for the future as the team continues its rebuild.
That optimism appears to extend to the front office, as a new report confirms the Raptors have picked up head coach Darko Rajakovic's fourth-year option, per Sportsnet's Michael Grange.
This move ensures Rajakovic will remain under contract for at least the next two seasons.
Michael Grange reveals that the Toronto Raptors "already picked up" Darko Rajaković's 4th year option in the offseason last summer.

Despite a 53-104 record since taking over from Nick Nurse two seasons ago, the Raptors clearly see Rajakovic as an asset. Before arriving in Toronto, the Serbian coach was an assistant with the Memphis Grizzlies, where he played a key role in player development.
Rajakovic has earned the support of both the organization and players, and with the Raptors entering their second full year of rebuilding, he will look to guide the team to new heights-and possibly lay the foundation for another championship-caliber run like Toronto's 2019 title-winning season.
The Raptors sit 11th in the Eastern Conference, with a play-in spot almost certainly beyond reach. They will now shift their attention to the offseason, beginning with the NBA draft, as they seek to build a playoff roster.
