Everton are preparing for a busy summer transfer window.
The Friedkin Group are currently restructuring Everton’s recruitment team, with sporting director Kevin Thelwell set to leave Goodison Park.
Angus Kinnear will join Everton at the end of the season and he could be joined by Leeds United chief Nicky Hammond.
Hammond’s recruitment in the second tier has clearly impressed the American investors, having signed the likes of Ao Tanaka and Joe Rodon.
David Moyes is eager to shop in the Championship as he firmly believes it’s home to a plethora of future Premier League superstars.
And with that said, it’s just come to light that Moyes watched a £30m-rated second-tier gem on the weekend.

David Moyes personally watched Maxime Esteve on the weekend
Everton have been showing an interest in Burnley’s Maxime Esteve since the January transfer window after his sensational performances this term.
Esteve has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the Championship and aged just 22, he’s still got gears to go.

According to Alan Nixon’s Patreon, Moyes watched Esteve against Bristol City on Saturday afternoon, as the Clarets picked up a 1-0 win at Turf Moor.
Scott Parker’s side collected their 28th clean sheet of the season, which is already a Championship record.
Nixon further adds that Moyes will be given cash for the right profile of player this summer and by all accounts, the greenlight has been given to meet Esteve’s £30m valuation.

Esteve has been labelled as a ‘phenomenon’ by youth talent expert Jacek Kulig, who compared him to Newcastle United’s Sven Botman.
