There are still eight games left in the regular season but if Milwaukee Bucks’ recent performances are any indication, then fans must brace themselves for a world of hurt.

The Bucks lost for a second straight time at the Fiserv Forum, a loss that is as ugly as the last one (against the New York Knicks). Atlanta Hawks came to Wisconsin and took their lunch money.
The Hawks scored 145 against the Bucks’ 124. This should be easy to spot where the team needs to improve – the defensive end.
The two teams went to the locker room feeling good about themselves because of their exemplary shooting as the first half closed in an 82-75 score in favor of the Hawks. The 82-point first half by Atlanta is just seven-point shy of the highest points scored in the first two quarters in league history.

The Bucks was very much in the game, they even shot 85% (17-20 FGM) in the first half to take a 44-37 lead. However, they faltered in the next ones.
They allowed their visitors to score 45 against their 31 points and in the third quarter, it was their offense who went awry, scoring just 17 points. It did not help, too, that the Hawks scored 36.
Milwaukee Bucks fans are losing hope
The recent struggles are mainly due to the team being undermanned, led by Damian Lillard who is out indefinitely due to blood-clot in his right calf.
However, the remaining guys, except for Giannis, are not enough to keep the energy high within the Bucks community.
There are eight games to go in the regular season and the build-up to the postseason should bring confidence to the team and the fan base. That’s not what’s happening right now based on X post by some huge X Bucks account.

This is so depressing

Bucks lose again and suddenly are at real risk of falling into play-in. Hawks 4 back in the loss column and clinch the rare 5 game tiebreaker due to extra Cup game. Gulp.

At what point do you take out players for defensive breakdowns and not getting back in transition? Asking for a friend

Honestly quite impressive how this franchise has managed to sap the life out of this fanbase in the middle of Giannis’ prime.

The Bucks will continue their attempt to return to winning ways when they host the Phoenix Suns who just last night lost Kevin Durant to a foot injury.
They are now in real danger of falling to the play-in as they are just four games above the seventh place Atlanta.
