“The Russians are sending out way more drones than they used to,” Klym, of Ukrainian force Avenge team, told FRANCE 24. “For every ten that they used to launch they now launch 80”.

Ukraine’s defence force relies on American support for the supply and maintenance of these weapons, having benefited from a massive boost in 2022 when the US provided a $400 million military aid package.
However, there are fears of the impact if the Trump administration decides to cut off weapons supplies, given that the Kremlin has demanded all military aid end as a caveat to peace talks.
