Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca looks as if he is beginning to welcome back some of his key players ahead of a huge run of games to the end of the season.
All eyes ahead of the London derby against Tottenham will be on whether Cole Palmer will be fit to play after missing their last game against Arsenal and the international break.
Palmer trained on Friday after initial doubts over his fitness, suggesting he is in line to return in what is one of nine cup finals as far as Chelsea’s Champions League prospects are concerned.
There was more good news last week when Nicolas Jackson also trained after not featuring for the Blues since deadline day when he was forced off in the win against West Ham.
Despite the fact the Senegal international had suffered a poor run in front of goal, it is clear how much better Chelsea are when he plays, and his record against Spurs sees him boast four goals in just three games.

Marc Guiu closing in on injury recovery at Chelsea
In the same game Jackson was forced off, his replacement, Marc Guiu also hobbled off after a strong cameo off the bench.
It turned out that the Guiu had suffered a bad injury, and was also set for a prolonged period of time away from the first team.

It looks as if the Spain international is getting closer to his recovery though. He posted a photo on his Instagram story showing he was back working in the gym in hope of making a return in the coming weeks.
Guiu has starred in the Conference League this season, a competition Chelsea are heavy favourites to win. The youngster was the top scorer in the group stage section of the tournament.

Chelsea’s stance on Marc Guiu after impressive debut season
Despite being just 19, the striker has impressed greatly when given the opportunity for the Blues in his first season at the club.
Guiu was named on NXGN’s list of most impressive young players, where fellow future Chelsea stars Estevao Willian, Geovany Quenda and Kendry Paez also feature.
Chelsea were against loaning Guiu in January due to being impressed by what he has provided so far, although that stance may change depending on their transfer activity in the summer.
The Blues are expected to bring in a new number nine in the upcoming transfer window, which could see his best option for regular minutes come at another club.
