Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan hold trilateral talks
**AKIPRESS.COM** - President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyec held trilateral talks on March 31 in Khujand prior to start of celebrations of the Nooruz Holiday, the Kyrgyz president's press service reported.
The heads of state discussed regional cooperation, strengthening of good neighborly relations, joint implementation of infrastructure and economic projects, expansion of tourism opportunities of the region.
Sadyr Japarov thanked the President of Tajikistan for hospitality and a high level of organization of the event, symbolizing unity and friendship of the nations.
President Japarov said such initiatives as today's celebrations will become a good tradition and will be held annually in different parts of 3 countries. "Kyrgyzstan looks to the future with great optimism and is firmly committed to developing multifaceted cooperation with the fraternal states of Central Asia," President Japarov said.
He said the countries successfully implement major infrastructure and economic projects, which are aimed to ensure sustainable growth and prosperity of entire region.
President Japarov reminded that Osh, Khujand and Andijan cities are not only historical centers, but are also symbols of centuries-old civilization, richest traditions and culture. He suggested consideration of introduction of one visa, which will ease free travel of tourists in the countries in the regions, similar to Schengen area in Europe.
President Japarov said the regional integration continues developing actively, while strengthening of cooperation in all spheres will become a pledge for sustainable development and prosperity of Central Asia.
