The Gunners announced the appointment of Andrea Berta as the club’s new sporting director on Sunday and the Italian will lead the discussions.
Saka’s future is a priority for Arsenal, with the 23-year-old having established himself as one of Europe’s top wide players since emerging from the ranks in North London.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the player’s agent and Arsenal will soon hold talks. Saka is nearing his return from a hamstring injury that has sidelined the winger since December. He has returned to first-team training and could feature when Arsenal face Fulham in the Premier League tomorrow evening.
Saka has made 250 appearances for Arsenal since his debut as a teenager and has twice been named the club’s Player of the Season. He was also recognised with the PFA Young Player of the Year Award in 2022/23.
This season, he’s scored five times and provided 10 assists in 16 league appearances. Only Mohamed Salah has assisted more goals than Saka, despite the Arsenal youngster having not featured in 2025.
