In its latest weather forecast, the state weather bureau said the affected areas would include the Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Palawan, Sultan Kudarat, and Sarangani.
Scattered rains are expected over Southern Mindanao and Palawan in the next 24 hours due Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), PAGASA said Monday.

These moderate to at times heavy rains may trigger flash floods or landslides.
Cloudy skies with light rains will persist over Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to the northeasterly wind flow.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
These severe thunderstorms may cause flash floods or landslides.
State meteorologists also said Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind and moderate to rough coastal water.
Winds will be light to moderate, and coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
