Tottenham Hotspur will compete against its fiercest rivals Arsenal FC during a summer preseason tour of Hong Kong this summer.
The fixture on 31 July 2025 will take place at the Kai Talk Stadium which opened in March 2025 and will be the centrepiece of Hong Kong’s latest development of boosting its sports and entertainment strategy.
The Hong Kong tour will also feature other Premier League team Liverpool FC, as well as seven-time Champions League winners AC Milan.
Tottenham vs. Arsenal in Hong Kong will be the first North London derby to be held outside the UK and will become a part of the Hong Kong Football Festival.
Ryan Norys, Chief Revenue Officer, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “There are few bigger occasions in English football than a north London derby and to play this fixture in Hong Kong will be a huge occasion for our passionate fanbase across Asia, as well as providing ideal preparation for the team ahead of the new season.
“As is tour tradition, the club will be involved in so much more than the match itself when we visit, supporting charitable causes, celebrating local culture, delivering football clinics for young people and engaging with fans and partners. We cannot wait to visit such a beautiful place once again.”
Travelling Spurs fans and those in Hong Kong will be able to attend an open training session on 29 July ahead of the Arsenal friendly fixture in another bid to increase its fanbase and partner relationships in Hong Kong and across wider Asia.
Tottenham has several key Asia-based partners, such as Ant International, and will be working with club principle partner AIA to deepen its engagement with fans by promoting health and well being.
Furthermore, the Premier League club will deliver a technical programme for young players across the local Hong Kong area and provide workshops on coach education by showcasing training methods within the club’s academy.
