Former Manchester United winger Mason Greenwood has paid tribute to 'strong' partner Harriet Robson after Mother's Day in the United Kingdom.

Sharing a picture of Robson wearing a Greenwood shirt in the stands with their child at Marseille, he wrote: "Happy Mother's Day. Being a dad has changed everything but it's watching you be a mum that's taught me the most.

"Strong, loving and always in my corner." Robson would later share the post onto her own feed

Greenwood was suspended by United in January 2022 amid allegations of attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour. A lengthy investigation into the case then followed, with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) dropping all charges against Greenwood in February 2023.

A United statement at the time read: "Manchester United notes the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped. The club will now conduct its own process before determining next steps. We will not make any further comment until that process is complete."

In September 2023, United chose to send Greenwood on loan to Getafe for the season as they continued to mull over their decision. Supported by Robson, the forward would make 36 appearances for the La Liga club, scoring ten goals in the process.

Upon his return to Manchester, Greenwood was informed by Ineos and Erik ten Hag that he would be sold that summer and a transfer was arranged for him to join Marseille. Now in Ligue 1, Greenwood has managed 16 goals in 29 appearances as the French club battle for Champions League qualification next season.
