Fabrizio Romano suggests Liverpool forward could be leaving - report

'Nothing concrete' in Diaz talks

In 2026, Caoimhin Kelleher and Ibrahima Konate are out of contract while in 2027 Curtis Jones, Alisson Becker, Harvey Elliott, Diogo Jota, Conor Bradley and Luis Diaz are among the high-profile names whose terms expire.

The standoff over Diaz has been rumbling all season withthe Colombian reported to be unhappy with this current deal. Initially signed in 2022 from Porto for £37.5 million, Diaz signed a £55,000 per week contract.

The 28-year-old has been angling for a pay rise but Liverpool have so far been unwilling or unable to meet his demands. That leaves the club vulnerable with Diaz’s value diminishing as his contract ticks towards expiry.

And now the situation has been explained by Fabrizio Romano, who states there are currently NO contract talks in place between Diaz and the club.

Moreover, with the likes of PSG, Arsenal and Barcelona mooted as potential destinations, Diaz could be LEAVING Anfield.
