Manchester City striker Erling Haaland was pictured on crutches after injuring his ankle during the 2-1 win over Bournemouth in the FA Cup at the weekend.
The Norwegian international is not expected to face Leicester on Tuesday night and he is also a serious doubt for the Manchester derby.
City have had to endure multiple injury setbacks this season and fans on X are very unhappy about this latest one that Haaland has suffered:

Haaland could be out for some time
There is no point speculating too much about the extent of the injury with City having yet to give a timeframe for the forward’s return.
However, the fact that Haaland was wearing a protective boot does indicate that he may be out for more than a few games. Supporters will be keeping their fingers crossed it is merely a precaution.
The latest Man City injury news
Haaland becomes the sixth player on the sidelines, with the likes of Manuel Akanji (adductor), John Stones (hamstring), Nathan Ake (foot), Rodri (ACL) and Oscar Bobb (fitness) also unavailable.
Out of those five, the only one who is not expected to return before the season comes to a close is Ake. It will be hoped that Haaland doesn’t join the Dutchman on the long-term absentee list.
