Former NBA All-Star Predicts Winner of Duke-Houston Final Four Game

The Final Four is set for the 2025 men's NCAA Tournament. And, believe it or not, all four No. 1 seeds have made it to the Final Four, marking the first time that has happened since 2008.

On Saturday, Florida and Auburn face off in the first game in San Antonio, followed by Duke against Houston.

This year's NCAA Tournament has only seen one buzzer-beater: No. 4 Maryland over No. 12 Colorado State.

It has also only seen one overtime game: No. 10 Arkansas losing a tough one to No. 3 Texas Tech in the Sweet 16.

But the top four teams prevailed, and it should make for a thrilling final few games of the college basketball season.

After the field was set, the CBS Sports college basketball crew discussed the matchups.

Former NBA All-Star Wally Szczerbiak gave his bold prediction for the Duke-Houston game, and he predicted the Blue Devils would win by double-digits.

"I said they could be the greatest Duke tournament team of all time," Szczerbiak mentioned. "I think Duke's going to be too big, too poised, too strong and too talented, and I think they are going to win by double digits."

Szczerbiak played 10 seasons in the NBA and was an All-Star with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2002-03, and he played college basketball at Miami Ohio.

Houston has defeated No. 16 SIU Edwardsville by 38, No. 8 Gonzaga by five, No. 4 Purdue by two and then No. 2 Tennessee by 19 in the Elite Eight blowout.

Duke, on the other hand, topped No. 16 Mount St. Mary's by 44, No. 9 Baylor by 23, No. 4 Arizona by seven and No. 2 Alabama by 20, so the margin of victory has been fairly lopsided for the Blue Devils.

Nonetheless, both teams are playing terrific basketball, and tip-off for this game will be on Saturday at 8:49 pm ET in the Alamodome.
