Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is the head coach of the defending Super Bowl champions. His outspoken nature, usually a mark of criticism over his first four years with the team, has turned into a charming outlook on both the league and his team.
That charm was made apparent on Sunday evening ahead of the league's annual spring meetings in Palm Beach, Florida.
With the Eagles' Tush Push now under debate with rumors of a potential ban being in the works amongst the owners, Philadelphia's head coach made it clear in a joking manner that he felt he had at least some votes on his side to defend the play.
"We'll see how it goes," Sirianni told NFL Media on Sunday. "All I will say about it is (Jonathan) Gannon, (Shane) Steichen and (Kellen) Moore better vote for it. They are in the (head coach) position right now because of that play. So all three, I better have those three votes right there and the Eagles' vote. I at least know we have four."

Philadelphia ran the variation of the quarterback sneak to near perfection and an over 90% success rate. The rest of the league ran it close to 80% during that time.
The Green Bay Packers were the team to bring a formal rule proposal to ban the play in general due to multiple factors including but not limited to actually losing to the Eagles in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
One NFL head coach told ESPN, "It's weak ... It reeks of jealousy.''
While it is unclear whether the play will be allowed to remain or banned, the Eagles and their head coach are still looking to keep the play in their playbook.
