During the NFL owners meetings this week, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the team’s pursuit of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers met with Rodgers earlier this month but have yet to sign him.

According to reports, 41-year-old future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is in no rush to make a decision, which is obviously relevant to the Steelers given that their quarterback depth chart currently consists of Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson. Tomlin — whose sweat-covered facade also grabbed attention — says that he and Rodgers had a “productive” visit and that signing him is still a possibility for the team.

“He’s a free agent. As you guys know, he came to visit last Friday. We had a really productive day. He’s been in this thing a long time. I’ve been in this thing a long time. But there’s no substitute for intimacy and spending time together and getting to know one another in a non-competitive environment, so that was really good. But I don’t have any new updates in terms of where the process is. We’ll see where it leads us.”
