Stefon Diggs Clears Air After Awkward Drake Maye Comment

Drake Maye clearly took diligent notes at the Patriots’ school of media training.

Maye didn’t give Kay Adams much of anything last week when he appeared on the “Up & Adams” show. The rookie quarterback gave an exceedingly diplomatic answer when asked how he wanted New England to use its first-round draft pick and became very awkward when Adams asked if he or Stefon Diggs followed the other first on Instagram.

“I’m not even sure,” Maye told Adams. “I think it was either way. I don’t really remember. It was at the same time.”

Well, the ever-outspoken Diggs was far more forthcoming about the situation last Friday when he was formally introduced by the Patriots.

“I followed him first,” the veteran wide receiver said in a video shared by the team. “He’s a little bit more of a celebrity than me, so I had to follow him.”
