Fantasy Premier League returns for a Gameweek 30 made up of midweek fixtures following an international break and an FA Cup quarterfinal weekend.

The round begins on Tuesday, April 1, with a deadline of 6.15 p.m. BST.

With the League Cup final having already taken place and the FA Cup reaching the semifinals stage, there is plenty to look out for in FPL when it comes to double and blank gameweeks due to rearrangements caused by those domestic cups.

This will define much of the rest of the season for FPL managers’ transfers, especially for those with chips remaining.

Along with Bournemouth’s home game against Ipswich Town, Manchester City’s welcoming of Leicester City looks like one of the most potentially one-sided games of Gameweek 30.

**Erling Haaland** would usually be the obvious choice of captain in this scenario, but he is doubtful for the game after picking up an ankle injury in the FA Cup game against Bournemouth.

Transferring Haaland out would leave funds to replace him with any striker in the game, and the best choice might just be his teammate **Omar Marmoush** who has impressed since arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt in January.

Marmoush has started regularly even with Haaland in the lineup, but in the Norwegian’s absence means he will be the main man in attack for Man City and may even be worth captaining in his round of FPL fixtures.

Newcastle United has a confirmed double gameweek in Gameweek 32.

It means Newcastle players would appear to be a good option as, on top of the week in which they play twice, they also have upcoming games against the leaky defenses of Leicester City and Ipswich Town.

After its Carabao Cup win, Newcastle’s season is now focused squarely on the Premier League.

If the hangover from those celebrations has worn off, they will be going all out to finish in the Champions League places at the end of the season.

**Alexander Isak** would be the obvious choice for those looking to add Newcastle players to their team, but cheaper options in other positions, such as **Harvey Barnes**, **Jacob Murphy**, **Joe Willock**, and **Tino Livramento**, might be worth a look ahead of this run.

Crystal Palace players will already be an attractive option in Gameweek 30 as they face bottom of the table Southampton.

On top of this, they join Newcastle with two games in Gameweek 32 and could also be doubling up in Gameweek 33

The downside of this is that Palace will have a blank gameweek somewhere along the line due to its participation in the FA Cup semifinals.

This is where some managers might choose to use a remaining Free Hit chip on a blank week rather than the doubles.

**Ismaila Sarr** and **Jean-Philippe Mateta** have been the outstanding points scorers for Palace this season, but **Eberechi Eze** might also be worth considering after his goal and assist in the FA Cup against Fulham.
