Ruud van Nistelrooy has given a major indicator of how he will set up against Manchester City on Wednesday night.
The Foxes face the reigning Premier League champions ay the Etihad Stadium, where Man City fans are expected to protest.
Pep Guardiola will also be missing from the touchline after he picked up a third yellow card of the season against Bournemouth and Erling Haaland is also a doubt due to injury.
Despite those setbacks, the hosts are the favourites for the three points and have seemingly been given an insight into how the Leicester manager plans to set up.

Ruud van Nistelrooy to continue using 5-3-2 formation
Van Nistelrooy spoke about the Foxes’ survival chances during his press conference on Monday and in addition to it, was asked about what formation he would deploy.
The Dutchman made a tactical tweak for the game against Chelsea, switching to a 5-3-2 formation, and stuck with it against Manchester United too.
Both of those games ended in defeat, but that hasn’t put off the 48-year-old.
He said: “The Chelsea and Manchester United games were enough to continue with the new formation. It’s good to give it more time – formation is not something you change week after week – players have to get used to it so we will continue to build on it.”

Stephy Mavididi must start ahead of Patson Daka against Man City
Now that Van Nistelrooy has confirmed he will carry on using the same formation, he must now make an important change to the starting XI.
With Paston Daka misfiring, scoring just one goal this season, and failing to make any sort of impact on the game, Stephy Mavididi must be given a chance.
Mavididi is one of Leicester’s top scorers this season with five goals and will be chomping at the bit to show what he’s worth and do what he can to keep the Foxes in the top flight.
