Barcelona star Raphinha has missed out on his team’s last two games against Osasuna and Girona after a tiring international break that saw him jet out to Brazil for World Cup qualifiers.
Hansi Flick revealed he didn’t start Raphinha at the weekend because he was still feeling the effects of the international break but he is expected to return next time out.
Barcelona’s next game is a crucial Copa del Rey semi-final tie at Atletico Madrid, with the game locked at 4-4 after a wild first leg.
“He’ll be 190% fit,” is the message from the dressing room about Raphinha’s availability for the match, according to Diario AS.
All of which is great news for Flick as he looks to keep his squad fresh amid a very intense schedule following the international break.
Raphinha has been brilliant this season but, curiously, hasn’t scored against Atletico in their three fixtures so far this season.
