Will Josh Giddey Play in Return Game Against OKC Thunder?

The Oklahoma City Thunder are at home on Monday night as they face off against the red-hot Chicago Bulls.

Oklahoma City enters Monday's contests amid a nine-game winning streak as their incredible season continues with the playoff right around the corner.

They will look to keep things rolling on Monday against a Bulls team that has won seven of their last 10 games but are coming off a disappointing loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.

The headliner for Monday's matchup is Josh Giddey's first return to Oklahoma City since he was traded from the Thunder to the Bulls in the offseason.

Of course, Giddey spent three seasons in Oklahoma City before he was traded by the Thunder to the Bulls in the offseason for Alex Caruso, which has worked out well for both sides thus far this season.

Despite this, Giddey may not be available in Monday's game as the Bulls have listed him as questionable due to right hip soreness and injury management.

Josh Giddey (injury management) is questionable tomorrow vs OKC.

Come on, Bulls. That'd be a bummer.

Giddey has played in four of Chicago's last five games after returning from an ankle injury that sidelined him for three contests earlier in March.

While that may be the case, Giddey may be out for Monday's game against his old team which would be a massive blow to the Bulls as they continue to fight for a higher seed in the Eastern Conference standings.

Giddey has had a great season thus far for the Bulls and if he is sidelined on Monday, expect Dalen Terry and Julian Phillips to see an increased role for Chicago.

This season, the 22-year-old guard is averaging 14.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 46.6% from the field and 38.0% from three.

Giddey has had a breakout season thus far for the Bulls as he has bene one of their most reliable players after they traded away Zach LaVine at the trade deadline, but he may be sidelined in Monday's game against Oklahoma City.

Fans can catch Monday's matchup between the Bulls and Thunder at 8:00 p.m. EST.
