Pacers vs. Kings Injury Report Reveals Healthy Western Conference Opponent

The Indiana Pacers are in a tight race for the Eastern Conference's fourth seed, and the final stretch of the 2024-25 season is imperative for them. On Monday, the Pacers will host the Sacramento Kings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Although the Pacers don't have a stacked injury report, their opponent has fewer significant scratches to stress.

The Pacers vs. Kings injury report reveals a healthy Western Conference opponent.

Amid a campaign infested with banged-up players and season-ending injuries, the Pacers are finally nearing a roster with only one significant injury. However, their young, athletic, physically imposing wing, Bennedict Mathurin, will miss Monday's game vs. the Kings.

Despite missing Mathurin, the Pacers should have no problem putting points on the board. In the last 10 games, Sacramento showcased why it's in the Play-In Tournament tier of the Western Conference. Ranking 29th in defensive rating over the allotted span, leading only the miserable Philadelphia 76ers, the Kings don't have the will to push back on opponents.

Despite deploying a healthy rotation, the Kings can't hold down the fort, causing the lowly Dallas Mavericks to eclipse them in the Western Conference standings.

Indiana has a chance to pile onto Sacramento's recent woes as it pursues the New York Knicks for the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
