Chet Holmgren’s Injury Status Before Chicago Bulls-Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder are at home on Monday night as they look to extend their winning streak against the Chicago Bulls.

Oklahoma City enters Monday's contest amid a nine-game winning streak as their dominant season continues with the playoffs right around the corner.

They will now look to extend their winning streak to 10 games on Monday when they face off against a Bulls team that has won seven of their last 10 games.

Unfortunately for the Thunder, they may once again be without their young star forward Chet Holmgren in Monday's game as they have listed him as questionable due to hip injury management.

Thunder's injury report for tomorrow's game against the Bulls:

Chet Holmgren (hip injury management) is questionable

Isaiah Hartenstein (hip soreness) is questionable

Jaylin Williams (hip tightness) is questionable

Aaron Wiggins (Achilles tendinitis) is out

Ousmane Dieng (calf…

Of course, Holmgren missed Saturday's victory over the Indiana Pacers due to injury management and he has been in a out of the lineup a ton lately as he continues to deal with a left hip injury.

With the Thunder already having clinched the top seed in the Western Conference, expect them to take caution with Holmgren down the stretch as they want him fully healthy for their playoff run.

Because of this, they may elect to sit the 22-year-old in Monday's game against the Bulls and if they do so, expect Kenrich Williams and Jaylin Williams to see an increased role.

Holmgren has had a solid season thus far for the Thunder despite missing a ton of time due to injuries.

The star forward has played in just 26 games this season but he is averaging 14.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 2.3 blocks per game while shooting 49.3% from the field and 35.5% from three-point range.

If Holmgren is out for Monday's game, it would be a major blow to the Thunder but they have played extremely well without him this season thanks to their offseason addition of Isaiah Hartenstein putting together one of the best seasons of his career.

Fans can catch Monday's matchup between the Bulls and Thunder at 8:00 p.m. EST.
