The team signed veteran Jarrett Stidham to serve as Bo Nix's backup and now have signed Ehlinger to serve as their third-string quarterback. Zach Wilson served as the Broncos third quarterback last season but he signed with the Miami Dolphins this offseason to serve as their backup quarterback.

He was a sixth round pick for the Colts back in 2021 and was in their roster through the 2024 season. He appeared in 8 games for the Colts throughout his career including 3 starts and has totaled 573 yards, 3 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

The Broncos have been doing their due diligence on quarterbacks throughout the draft process so we'll see if they're done adding to their quarterback room. If they do, it'll be a late round pick or an undrafted free agent.
