Behdad Eghbali will laugh off any £29m bid for 'exceptional' Chelsea player this summer, he's worth so much more -…

There are a lot of players Chelsea will want to offload once the summer transfer window opens.

It has already been reported that Chelsea could get rid of £225m worth of talent, including Raheem Sterling and Joao Felix.

Sterling is the club’s highest earner but is not in Enzo Maresca‘s plans and is currently on loan at Arsenal.

However, there are also players Chelsea will want to keep amid interest, such as Andrey Santos.

Chelsea will not sell Andrey Santos for less than £30m

Santos has caught the attention of AC Milan, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and several other clubs.

And according to Calciomercato.it, Chelsea could sell the midfielder for as little as €35m (£29m) if they decide to put him on the market this summer.

The Italian clubs who are interested in signing Santos will be hoping for that, but it is not going to happen.

After the season Santos has had at Strasbourg, the Blues will want to keep hold of him. And if they do decide to sell, they are going to want a lot more than £29m.

Co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali are likely to scoff at such an offer. In Santos, they know they have a midfielder who has the potential to become one of the best players in his position one day.

Santos claims his future is undecided, but it would be an utter shock if Chelsea sold him in the next transfer window, especially for £29m.

Andrey Santos worth more than £30m

Santos is only 20 years of age, but the Brazilian already looks like the complete midfielder. At Strasbourg, he has been scoring goals and stopping opposition attacks.

In 25 Ligue 1 appearances this season, Santos has scored nine goals, which is really impressive for a midfielder.

According to WhoScored, the Brazil international is also making 3.5 tackles per game, the highest average in Liam Rosenior’s squad.

It is no wonder Santos has been described as “exceptional” by Ligue 1’s official website. If anyone wants to sign him this summer, then they better bring more than £30m to the table.
