Former Texas Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger has signed a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos. Ehlinger will join a quarterback room consisting of Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham.

Ehlinger started for the Longhorns from 2017 to 2020. Despite one last year of eligibility due to COVID-19 cancelations, Ehlinger declared for the NFL Draft after the 2020 season. He was then selected in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.
