16-year-old Chelsea youngster trains with Enzo Maresca and first team ahead of Tottenham clash

**A lot of eyes will be on which Chelsea players are regularly in training this week ahead of the huge Premier League clash with Tottenham.**

Enzo Maresca’s side currently sit fourth in the league, however have a fight on their hands to qualify for the Champions League for next season.

The Blues have been handed the boost of Cole Palmer back training with the squad after missing the defeat to Arsenal, while Nicolas Jackson has trained with the squad too as he prepares for his first appearance since the start of February.

With them closing in on a clean bill of health, there will be very few excuses for the Blues to not get back to winning ways after a rough few months of form.

The injury woes have seen a number of young players called up to train with the fit members of the first team in recent months, with some even getting the chance to feature on matchdays.

This has been the case for the likes of Shumaira Mheuka and Genesis Antwi have made their debuts, and 16-year-old Reggie Walsh has trained with the first team.

The youngster was part of the group who were available for the second leg of the Conference League Round of 16 second leg against Copenhagen, where he had the chance to become their youngest ever appearance maker in Europe.

It seems the midfielder impressed in his time with the first team before because he has been spotted back amongst Maresca’s players in training in the week leading up to the Tottenham game.

Walsh was not the only teenager who was spotted amongst the big boys at Cobham despite nearly all of the international stars returning from representing their nations.

Fellow 16-year-old Chizaram Ezenwata was seen in the group too, with him enjoying a stellar campaign so far playing two years up for the Under 18s.

The striker’s scored 10 goals in 14 games this season, and has surely taken note of the opportunities handed to Mheuka that promising performances can be rewarded with first team opportunities.
