The 2025 NFL Draft is just 24 days away, and teams are continuing the long process of scouting potential prospects at every position.
That being said, another NFL mock draft from The Dallas Express has officially arrived.
Tennessee Titans
Cam Ward, QB, Miami
Tennesse is desperate for a quarterback, and Ward is the most obvious choice with the top overall pick. While there may be better players overall in Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter, Ward has the chance to completely change the outlook of this franchise for years to come.
Cleveland Browns
Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
Carter is arguably the best player in the entire draft, and Cleveland will have the chance to create one of the most dominant defensive lines in the NFL with this selection. Quarterback is still a major point of concern for the Browns moving forward, but Ward is already off the board, and that issue can be dealt with in later rounds.
New York Giants
Travis Hunter, Cornerback/Wide Receiver, Colorado
New York recently signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston to manage the quarterback position for the upcoming season, indicating that the franchise could take the best player available with the third overall selection. Hunter has a chance to be one of the best players at either cornerback or wide receiver, and New York could benefit from his expertise at both positions, which will likely create packages to allow him to play both ways.
New England Patriots
Will Campbell, Offensive Tackle, LSU
This selection came down to Campbell and Armand Membou, but New England chose to go with the player who has been the consensus top offensive lineman for the majority of the season. Campbell’s measurements have been questionable, with differences between the combine and pro day, but he will immediately start for this team and become Drake Maye’s blindside protector for the long term.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Tetairoa McMillan, Wide Receiver, Arizona
McMillan tested well during the Arizona Pro Day and has all the physical tools needed to succeed at a high level. Jacksonville lost wide receiver Christian Kirk and tight end Evan Engram during free agency and could use another pass catcher for new Head Coach Liam Coen. McMillan’s skillset fits in perfectly alongside Brian Thomas Jr. for the future.
Las Vegas Raiders
Ashton Jeanty, Running Back, Boise State
Las Vegas could use this pick to go in various directions but decides on Jeanty, who is the clear-cut top running back in this class and will quickly be the best running back in the Raiders’ division. Jeanty can completely change the outlook for this offense and create big opportunities for quarterback Geno Smith in play-action due to his explosive abilities and impressive contact balance.
New York Jets
Mason Graham, Defensive Tackle, Michigan
New York is another team that will likely select the best player available, with Graham sliding as multiple other teams select players to fill specific needs. Graham already has a large repertoire of pass rush moves to pressure the quarterback and should make an impact quickly in his career during pure passing sets, though he may need to add some weight to become consistent in rushing defense sets.
Carolina Panthers
Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M
Stewart is still a very raw player with his technical moves. Still, once he is drafted, he will immediately become one of the most athletic players in the NFL, which makes Carolina a perfect scenario for the defensive lineman. Carolina is not in a rush to win games next season and can utilize Stewart’s rookie season to develop him into a more consistent player while also attempting to tap into a seemingly unlimited amount of potential.
New Orleans Saints
Armand Membou, Offensive Tackle, Missouri
New Saints Head Coach Kellen Moore is coming off a season with the Philadelphia Eagles, during which he witnessed firsthand how effective a dominant offensive line can be when utilized correctly. The Saints have more concerning holes on the roster, but Membou will become an almost immediate starter for this team moving forward and will play a huge role in how successful Moore is during his first head coaching job.
Chicago Bears
Tyler Warren, Tight End, Penn State
Chicago will likely decide between continuing to add to the trenches with the offensive and defensive line or adding another pass-catching option for Head Coach Ben Johnson and quarterback Caleb Williams. Warren exploded during his final season at Penn State and will immediately contribute to an offense expected to heavily utilize the tight end position in passing plays.
San Francisco 49ers
Jahdae Barron, Cornerback, Texas
San Francisco will select Barron with this pick and add him to a young secondary following the departure of cornerback Charvarius Ward in free agency. The 49ers need another playmaker on defense. Barron has shown an ability to play at almost any position in the secondary, making him a chess piece selection that will allow this team to use multiple different sets on the defensive side of the ball.
Dallas Cowboys
Jalon Walker, Linebacker, Georgia
Walker is not the most attractive pick for the Cowboys at 12th overall, but he has a very similar skillset to Micah Parsons, one of the most dominant players in the entire NFL. Dallas will need help on both the defensive line, following the departure of Demarcus Lawrence, and the linebacker position due to the injury of Demarvion Overshown, with Walker possessing the ability to fit into either position in his rookie season. Walker will also be able to learn a lot from Parsons and could help create an explosive duo on defense for years to come.
Miami Dolphins
Will Johnson, Cornerback, Michigan
Johnson was widely regarded as the best cornerback in the draft before injuries shut him down for a large portion of his final season at Michigan. Now, Miami will fill an immediate need and add a player who many expected to be drafted in the top five to ten selections when his final collegiate season began.
New York Giants (Projected trade with Indianapolis Colts)
Shedeur Sanders, Quarterback, Colorado
The Colts have multiple holes on the roster, and the biggest hole, tight end, does not have a clear answer with Warren being selected earlier in the first round. Trading back allows Indianapolis to acquire more draft capital in later rounds to address these holes. Meanwhile, the Giants have an opportunity to trade into the first round and select Sanders, who the franchise was likely considering with the third overall pick. Sanders will likely sit behind and learn from Wilson and Winston next season but could quickly become the starter moving forward. With both Wilson and Winston on relatively manageable contracts, there is room for Sanders to outshine both players and take over early in his career.
Atlanta Falcons
Mike Green, Edge, Marshall
The Falcons struggled all year to rush the pass last season and already signed Leonard Floyd in free agency, but doubling down to fully address this concern will help Atlanta in the present and future. Green is smaller than many defensive linemen but has the strength and speed to succeed in the NFL. Although he did not consistently compete against the top talent in college football, he dominated the mid-major level and showed multiple times that he could beat any offensive lineman.
Arizona Cardinals
Kenneth Grant, Defensive Tackle, Michigan
Yet another defensive player from Michigan is selected in the first round as Arizona looks to improve its run defense with this selection. Grant has a rare combination of size and speed and was often the best player on the Wolverines’ defensive line last season, with the potential to immediately make an impact on a team that struggled to stop the run last season.
Cincinnati Bengals
Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia
Cincinnati is reportedly working to retain Trey Hendrickson on a new contract. However, it remains unclear whether the team will be able to make the salary cap work with another major salary on the books. In this mock draft, Cincinnati chooses to ensure production along the defensive line with the selection of Williams, who many thought could go much higher than the late teens. Williams will have to develop into a better pass rusher to make up for the potential lost production if Hendrickson is traded, but he is already a stout run defender. He should be able to make an impact on this team quickly in his rookie season.
Seattle Seahawks
Grey Zabel, Offensive Line, NDSU
Seattle will likely choose between a pass catcher or offensive lineman with this pick, but the team is desperate for more help along the offensive line and could play Zabel at either a guard or center position to begin the 2025 season. Zabel is incredibly athletic and has seen his draft stock shoot up over the last few months, with his versatility playing a major role in why the Seahawks selected him in the first round.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jihaad Campbell
Campbell is the best linebacker in the draft and should immediately start for a Tampa Bay team with a major hole at the position. Although Campbell could still use some work in pass coverage, his ability to rush the quarterback in blitz packages and stop the run will significantly help this team create negative plays early in defensive possessions.
Denver Broncos
Emeka Egbuka, Wide Receiver, Ohio State
Egbuka has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in all of collegiate football during his time at Ohio State and should start for the Broncos during his rookie season. Denver needs help at almost every skill position on offense and could choose between various players with this pick, but selecting Egbuka will give this team a proven option who could turn out to be the most productive receiver in this draft.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Josh Simmons, Offensive Tackle, Ohio State
It is becoming increasingly clear that Aaron Rodgers will be the quarterback for the Steelers in the 2025 season, meaning this team must put together a competent offensive line for the 41-year-old quarterback. Simmons was one of the highest-rated offensive linemen in the draft before an injury took away a large piece of his final season. He is currently expected to be ready for the 2025 season and could easily become the Steelers’ starting left tackle if fully healthy by Week 1.
Los Angeles Chargers
Luther Burden III, Wide Receiver, Missouri
The Chargers are another team that needs another pass catcher to help create opportunities for the offense. This is even more evident after wide receiver Joshua Palmer signed with the Buffalo Bills in free agency. Burden is arguably the most elusive receiver in this draft and could easily become the second-best receiver on the roster once the franchise selects him.
Green Bay Packers
Trey Amos, Cornerback, Ole Miss
Green Bay is expected to move on from Jaire Alexander at some point this offseason and will need at least one player in that cornerback room. Amos fits the exact build and playstyle that this team needs next season. Amos is efficient at the line of scrimmage and has played against the top level of receivers during his collegiate career. The Packers were also heavily focused on Amos during the Ole Miss Pro Day and spent the majority of their time watching the cornerback work through drills and testing.
Minnesota Vikings
Malaki Starks, Safety, Georgia
Harrison Smith opted to return to the Vikings next season but will likely either retire or move to another team after one more season, meaning Minnesota has a need at safety in both the upcoming season and the future. Starks is one of the smartest defensive backs in the draft and could slide into the free safety role during his rookie season while also learning from Smith about the various positions and sets that he could end up playing in his career.
Houston Texans
Kelvin Banks Jr., Offensive Tackle, Texas
Houston once again selects Banks in a mock draft as the team continues to rebuild the offensive line for CJ Stroud. Houston has made some interesting decisions with the offensive line this offseason, and Banks should slide into the starting position at left tackle.
Los Angeles Rams
Colston Loveland, Tight End, Michigan
Despite poor play from the quarterback position last season, Loveland still showcased his abilities and will now head to Los Angeles in the first round. Matthew Stafford has always been a fan of his tight ends and Loveland should have a chance to contribute in his rookie season despite a loaded group in the wide receiver room.
Baltimore Ravens
Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College
Ezeiruaku fell slightly in this draft, but Baltimore picks him up and will add him to a defense that struggled at times during the 2024 season. Ezeiruaku is slightly undersized but already has a plethora of pass rush moves to beat tackles and pressure the quarterback, which is exactly what was missing from the Ravens’ defensive line at times during the most recent season.
Detroit Lions
James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee
With its selection, Detroit swings for the hills and takes a player who many expected to be drafted much higher. Pearce may have slight character concerns but he was incredibly productive for the Volunteers last season and could immediately step into a starting role for the Lions during his rookie season, Meanwhile, Detroit could use more juice along the defensive line as Aidan Hutchinson comes back from his injury and Zadarius Smith signs with another team.
Washington Commanders
Landon Jackson, Edge, Arkansas
Jackson has not been consistently discussed as a player expected to be drafted in the first round, but he has all the tools required for an effective pass rusher and will go to a team that needs help at this position. Washington will take a player and bet on his physical tools moving forward, though he has improved greatly during his time at Arkansas and should continue his upward trajectory in the NFL.
Buffalo Bills
Shavon Revel, Cornerback, East Carolina
Buffalo has already sent Kair Elam to the Dallas Cowboys and is seemingly allowing Rasul Douglas to sign with another team, leaving a major hole at the cornerback position. Revel is recovering from a torn ACL but should be back in time for the start of the 2025 season. His ability to be effective at the line of scrimmage will allow him to take on difficult matchups and immediately start as the Bills’ second cornerback.
Kansas City Chiefs
Derrick Harmon, Defensive Tackle, Oregon
Chris Jones is expected to stay in Kansas City for a few more seasons, but the end is closer than the beginning, and the Chiefs should begin preparing for his departure sooner rather than later. Harmon is incredibly athletic and could learn a lot from the future Hall of Famer, meaning the Chiefs could continue a run of dominant defensive lines that have helped them win the Super Bowls in the past.
Philadelphia Eagles
Nic Scourton, Edge, Texas A&M
Scourton becomes the second player from Texas A&M to be selected in the first round and could see snaps during his rookie season with the Eagles. Scourton is already pretty polished as a pass rusher and still has room to improve, but his size will allow him to line up at multiple positions along the defensive line moving forward.
