One West Ham United player is said to be seriously disappointing during training right now.
There are far too many players currently at West Ham who are simply not good enough.
That’s a result of some really poor recruitment over the past few years.
Graham Potter has to address that this summer, and the good news is that that’s exactly what he’s planning to do.
Whilst there will undoubtedly be numerous new arrivals in the summer transfer window, plenty of players will leave the London Stadium as well.

One man in particular has seriously failed to impress under both Potter and Julen Lopetegui this season, and he’ll surely be sent packing.
Luis Guilherme West Ham training claim made
The Hammers signed Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras in the summer of 2024.
West Ham are said to be ready to sell Luis Guilherme when the summer transfer window opens.

And if that happens, nobody will be surprised.
According to The Athletic, the reason why the 19-year-old has not been given many minutes this season is because he simply has not impressed whatsoever during training.
In my opinion, Guilherme was a bizarre signing from the get-go.
The Hammers desperately needed a young and pacy centre-forward and a powerful central midfielder at the time, but for some strange reason, Tim Steidten opted to sign an unproven teenage winger instead.

And something he said last week regarding the Brazilian was very interesting indeed.
Steidten said:
“I’m firmly convinced that Luis Guilherme will be an incredibly great player. Bringing in a young player was perhaps the wrong time, in retrospect. But not the wrong player.“
It will be interesting to see whether or not that prediction turns out to be correct.
Voetbal International have described Guilherme as an ‘incredible’ talent, but we’re yet to see much from him in all fairness.
Even if Luis Guilherme does come good one day, West Ham don’t particularly need him right now.
