Newcastle United have put forward an offer worth €60 million to sign Liverpool midfield sensation Harvey Elliott.
According to a report from Fichajes, Newcastle United are interested in acquiring the services of Harvey Elliott, and they have already tabled a €60 million offer to sign the Liverpool midfielder this summer. The Magpies want to further bolster their squad and consider the English youth international an ideal fit for their project.
Elliott was a part of the Fulham youth ranks back in the day, but he made the switch to Anfield in the summer of 2019. He went up the ranks at some pace and got promoted to their first team in the summer of 2021.
So far, he has featured in 140 matches for the Reds and has contributed towards 30 goals. While a foot injury kept him on the sidelines for a significant period of time in the ongoing season, he has still been involved in 21 matches.
The 21-year-old midfielder is considered a key part of their long-term plans under Arne Slot. While Elliott prefers playing as a central midfielder, he can feature as a number ten as well as on the flanks. His vision, ability to control the tempo of the game and impact at both ends of the pitch make him a crucial asset for the Merseyside club.

The English youth international’s contract at Anfield runs until the summer of 2027, and Liverpool have no intentions of sanctioning his departure. But Newcastle United are willing to try their luck.
