Oregon’s Bittle declares for NBA Draft, maintains college eligibility

EUGENE Ore. (KPTV) - Oregon Ducks center Nate Bittle has declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, while maintaining his college eligibility, he announced Monday.

The Central Point native [made the announcement](https://www.instagram.com/p/DH3l5pmJ45z/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link) on his Instagram page.

Bittle led the Ducks in scoring, rebounding and blocks during this past season, averaging 14.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game while starting in all 35 of the team’s games.

The four-year player was limited to five games due to injury in 2023-24, allowing him an extra year of eligibility if he withdraws from the draft before the final declaration deadline, which takes place after the NBA Draft Combine.

Bittle also announced that if he elects to withdraw from the draft, he will return to Oregon, and will not enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Oregon went 35-10 during the 2024-25 season, falling to Arizona in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
