Tim Duncan has really let his hair down in retirement … literally.
The retired San Antonio Spurs icon Duncan was in attendance on Sunday for the team’s home game at Frost Bank Center against the Golden State Warriors. Duncan had a spot in the stands along with his wife Vanessa Macias and was shown on the NBC Sports Bay Area broadcast during the first quarter.
Fans could hardly believe what Duncan looked like these days, especially with his long flowing hair (right about to shoulder level) and his very casual gray and camo shirt. Take a look.

Duncan, a five-time NBA champion, a 15-time All-Star, and a two-time NBA MVP with the Spurs, was known throughout his career for his stoic and reserved demeanor. But he retired as a player in 2016 and is now almost 50 years old (turning 49 next month). Duncan is clearly at a very different stage in his life right now and apparently a much more relaxed one.
Having been inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020, Duncan briefly returned to the Spurs as an assistant coach under his longtime head coach Gregg Popovich but called it quits after a fairly abbreviated run. These days, Duncan, a native of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, seems to be content with enjoying the finer things in life. Those include taking in games as a spectator and also hitting the open waters for some wakeboarding (as Duncan was seen doing in a viral video a couple of years ago).
