Jordan Poole Snatches Wizards Franchise Record From Bradley Beal

Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole now holds the franchise record for most 3-pointers in a single season, eclipsing Bradley Beal.

Against the Miami Heat on Monday, Poole drained his 224th 3-pointer for the 2024-25 NBA season, surpassing Beal's record of 223 3-pointers he set in the 2016-17 season.

Poole has been making it rain in his second season with the Wizards. Last week against the Philadelphia 76ers, he set the franchise record for most games with at least four 3-pointers with 28. This broke Davis Bertans' 27-game record he set in the 2019-20 season.

It's not a surprise that Jordan is crushing it from deep. The 25-year-old entered the limelight during his stint with the Golden State Warriors from 2019 to 2023.

It didn't take long for a University of Michigan product to fit into the system. For his 3-point making ability, he was referred to as the "Third Splash Brother" alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Now with the Wizards, the 2022 NBA Champion is making his mark. He's seen as one of the leaders of the Wizards, particularly its young core headlined by Alex Sarr, Carlton Carrington, Bilal Coulibaly, Kyshawn George, and others.

The potential addition of Cooper Flagg in the 2025 NBA Draft is expected to turn the Wizards into a solid playoff contender.
