Houston Rockets Jalen Green Wins Second Western Conference Player of Week Honors

Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green was named the NBA Western Conference player of the week. It's Green second time this season winning the award. Jalen has established himself as a franchise player this season as he continues to score at a elite level.

Green averaged 28.7 ppg per game along with 7 rebounds and 4 assist. He had two 30-point games last week as he scored 32 versus the Atlanta Hawks and 33 against the Phoenix Suns. Houston is 12-1 when Green scores 30 points or more in a game.

The Rockets had a record of 3-0 during the week. Green is major part of the Rockets success this season as they have won 12 of their last 13 games. Houston currently has the second-best record in the Western Conference.

Green has a remarkable streak of playing in 179 consecutive games for Houston. He has now played in 93.5% of all possible games played. Green is excited about the Rockets playing in the postseason for the first time is his career.

"It feels good as it what I been dreaming about since I got to Houston. I'm excited about it and right now its about detail and I feel like we are executing that," said Green
