Man United head to the City Ground to play against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

Manchester United head to the City Ground on Tuesday night for their first Premier League game after the March international break. They went into the break with a promising 3-0 win against Leicester City.

Rasmus Hojlund netted in the win over the Foxes, ending a 21-game goal drought. He also scored for Denmark during the international break, and the Red Devils will hope that the striker can continue his improved form against Forest on Tuesday.

Speaking of Tuesday’s opponents, Forest reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday, setting up a tie with Manchester City at Wembley as they search for their first FA cup final since 1991.

Tuesday could be a tough test for United as Forest are also in the hunt for a Champions League spot. They are currently third in the Premier League table, 17 points ahead of Manchester United in 13th.

Is Nottingham Forest vs Man United on TV?

The game will be shown live on TNT Sports 1 and on Tuesday night. It can also be streamed on the Discovery+ app for those with a TNT Sports subscription. Or via the likes of Sky Go if Sky Sports customers have a subscription to TNT Sports through their Sky package.

Highlights after the game will be posted to the TNT Sports YouTube channel and extended highlights of all the midweek action in the Premier League will be shown at 10.40 pm on Wednesday 2 April on BBC One for Match of the Day.

United’s trip to Forest will kick off at 8pm on Tuesday 1 April from the City Ground. The two sides have played each other a total of 113 times, with Man United winning 54 meetings, Forest winning 35 and 24 matches ending in a draw.

The last time that United played Forest was in early December when the Red Devils lost 3-2 at Old Trafford. Nikola Milenkovic took the lead for the visitors after just two minutes, before United scored in the 18th minute to equalise through Rasmus Hojlund.

Forest then scored twice via Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood, before a Bruno Fernandes goal came after 61 minutes to make it 3-2. The Red Devils were unable to find an equaliser, handing all three points to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

Forest pair could miss out due to injury

Both Wood and Gibbs-White are doubts for the game against United on Tuesday night due to injury. Wood suffered an injury whilst on international duty with New Zealand whereas Gibbs-White picked up a knock against Brighton in the FA Cup on Saturday. Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo provided an injury update for both players ahead of Tuesday’s game.

On Wood, Santo said: “Let’s wait and see. It is going to be day by day we have to assess him. It is all about the pain he has. It was a big impact on his hip and it is very painful. We have to assess him. We are gutted that Chris is not here with us. I cannot answer that [if Wood will be fit to play United]. I don’t know, I’m not sure. It is going to be day by day.”

Providing an update on Gibbs-White, Santo said: “We are going to assess him. He had a big contact against the post. His leg was not OK and he was struggling. In the final minutes, you saw we were suffering. We were on the ropes, so we decided to turn to Morato to see if we could hold on for penalties.”

In other news, Fabrizio Romano expects a Man United-linked player to move to the Premier League in the summer.
